Mimetic Solutions is seeking partners to jointly develop novel applications of our robust Affinimer™-based Smart Release technology. We are currently developing and validating the core technology through proofs of concept within healthcare, cosmetics/cosmeceuticals, and other industries. Our goal is to match our technical expertise with industry-leading companies with proven commercialization expertise. We are currently seeking partners in the following areas:

• TheraSmart™ – Development of Affinimer-based drug formulations for Analyte Responsive Delivery (ARD) of therapeutic agents, based upon precise concentration of a biomarker. Current applications in development include glucose-driven release of insulin for diabetic patients.
• BeautySmart™ – Development of Affinimer-based formulations for triggered release of fragrance, essential oils, vitamins or anti-aging compounds. The current focus is on sweat biomarker-driven fragrance release for skin care.

Mimetic Solutions is led by world-leading scientists in synthetic, smart-binding polymers. Dr. Nicholas Peppas (University of Texas) and Dr. Zach Hilt (University of Kentucky) act as co-principals leading our laboratory work.
